Two New Tenants Arrive at Prospect Business Centre

AWG Property Ltd are delighted to welcome the arrival of two new tenants at Prospect Business Centre, their serviced office development situated on the prestigious Hamilton International Business Park in Blantyre.

D-TACQ Solutions, an IT Technology company specialising in data acquisition products and services has recently taken occupation of a 2,900sqft ground floor suite, while computer programming company Taylor Langstobie has also recently taken space at the development.

Prospect Business Centre is home to a variety of tenants including Darcey Quigley, Terrenus Land & Water, Team Rock, Medical Evidence 4 U and Just Cashflow.

Planning Consent Achieved at Bo’Ness

February, 2016

AWG Property, in partnership with Miller Homes, is delighted with the decision by Falkirk Council to grant planning consent in February 2016 for the erection of 167 new homes, together with associated infrastructure and green space on a 153 acre site to the south of Kinglass Farm, Borrowstoun Road, Bo’Ness.

Plans for the proposed residential development include a mix of 155, 2-storey detached and semi-detached houses, and 12 cottage flats within 2-storey buildings. Also featured is an area of open space, landscaping, footpath network and a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) in the form of 2 retention ponds.

AWG Property Ltd are delighted to welcome the arrival of two new tenants at their Prospect Business Centre office development situated on the prestigious Hamilton International Business Park in Blantyre.

Specialist consultancy Terrenus Land & Water is a founding member of the Terrenus Group who provide ecological, landscape design and environmental impact skills to private landowners and commercial clients have recently moved into a suite on the ground floor of Prospect Business Centre, while renowned debt recovery agency Darcey Quigley & Co are due to move into a 2,500sqft office suite in December this year. Founded in Glasgow in 2007, Darcey Quigley & Co specialise in commercial and international debt recovery in the UK.

Prospect Business Centre is now home to a variety of tenants including Team Rock, Just Cashflow, Medical Evidence 4 U, Bothwell Engineering and Elite 24/7. Property agents Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of AWG Property Ltd.

Work Progressing Well at Auchincruive

Detailed design work is progressing well at Auchincruive Village with two major housing developers preparing proposal’s for phases A and B and aiming to start work in 2016. It is anticipated the first properties will be occupied in early 2017. The plans for the first phases will feature the creation of approximately 230 new homes, a new main street, a retail unit and a village square.

Second Retailer Opens Within 4 Months at Graham Street, Airdrie

The site is currently zoned for employment use by Newport City Council and it is expected that the proposed development plans will feature a combination of commercial uses including offices and hotel accommodation. It is anticipated that these plans will be unveiled to the market in early Autumn 2015 and will attract a great deal of attention from potential office occupiers and hotel operators interested in becoming a part of the community that is Celtic Springs.

Ocean Point 1 welcomes CJR Wind

AWG Property Ltd has this month completed a deal to welcome to its Ocean Point office development internationally renowned energy company CJR Wind, part of the CJR Group, who specialise in the construction of wind farms.

By taking occupation of 750sqft they join an already impressive line-up of organisations including Visit Scotland, British Heart Foundation, Investors in People and RPS Group Plc.

Living on the street and facing homelessness is not often the result of a choice freely and willingly taken. It is complex, often associated with a number of other needs and issues.

In this regard Streetwork, a charity registered in Scotland that works with vulnerable and disadvantaged people in need in Edinburgh has formed a corporate partnership with ourselves.

As a company who has profited from housing and property development, we want to make a difference to those affected by homelessness. Therefore, to support this partnership we are holding our first, charity Pro-Am golf tournament on Friday 12th September 2014 at Murrayfield Golf Club, Edinburgh. The tournament will consist of up to 40 Professionals and each team that enters will consist of three amateurs and one Professional. Latest deal at ocean point leaves only 1500 sqft of space

April, 2012

Mastercard have extended their office space at AWG Property's flagship office development, 'Ocean Point' in Leith, Edinburgh from 4,027 sq ft to 7,400 sq ft and will now occupy the whole of the third floor. The building is now 97% let and only 1,500 sq ft remains, leaving a very limited amount of Grade A office space in Leith. Ocean Point is home to a number of occupiers, including Visit Scotland, British Heart Foundation, Investors In People, RPS and Seven Investment Management.

New Grade A office building at Celtic Springs Business Park, Newport Wales

28 West is the new name given to the latest 35,000 sq ft Grade A office building at Celtic Springs Business Park, Newport Wales. Previously known as CS3000, the rebrand coincides with the new offer of smaller suites available from 5,000 sq ft upwards at 28 West. An official relaunch of 28 West will take place in mid June, which will also see the launch of the interior designed reception area which will accommodate a number of businesses who could occupy the building.

New Retailers at Shawlands Shopping Centre, Glasgow

New retailers Card Factory and Miss Nails are the latest retailers to the Shawlands Shopping Centre in Glasgow. Card Factory opened its doors in March and is located within a prominent position at the main entrance of the shopping centre and Miss Nails is also positioned towards the bustling Kilmarnock Road.
