AWG Property worked in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council to regenerate this prominent city centre site within Cambuslang. The £16.2 million, 95,000sqft mixed use scheme comprises retail, commercial and residential elements developed in two phases.
The first phase included 42,000sqft of public sector offices, a range of 11 retail units, flats and car parking spaces while the second phase comprises a new residential development called Apex Apartments providing a mix of 44 two bedroom ensuite apartments (see Residential Section for further information).
The 11 retail units range in size from 941sqft to 3,336 square feet and are arranged on two levels. There are currently seven tenants secured at the scheme including William Hill, Cheque Centre, Farmfoods, Clydesdale Bank and Subway. |

LOCATION:
Cambuslang is a suburban town located on a lengthy bend just south of the River Clyde approximately 6 miles south-east of the centre of Glasgow. It is known as "the largest village in Scotland", with a population of around 24,500. The town is accessible from the nearby M74 while the nearby A724 provides links to Glasgow city centre and Hamilton. The town's railway station, Cambuslang, lies on the Argyle Line between North Glasgow and Lanark. |
